Before a remote ceremony, confirm that the temple accepts the format, how the name and intention are presented, whether the client participates at the same time, what may be recorded, when it will happen and how the record will be delivered. A livestream is used only when permitted and agreed.
Start with the request and time zone
The overseas client provides their country or region, intention, available dates and language. Both Thailand time and local time are written clearly to avoid daylight-saving and date-boundary mistakes. If the client will observe a quiet prayer period at the same time, a realistic start window is provided.
Remote participation is not suitable for every ceremony. Eligibility depends on the temple, responsible person, ceremony and client needs—not simply on payment convenience.
Information usually needed
Most arrangements need only the name the client wants presented, a short intention and relevant date. Photographs, birth information or family details are used only where genuinely needed and consented to. Passport numbers, banking data, medical records, private chats and account passwords should not be collected.
For intentions involving another person, avoid sending sensitive identifying media without that person’s consent.
How the ceremony is followed in Thailand
At the confirmed temple and time, staff record only the permitted key elements. Filming must not disturb chanting, worship, monks or other visitors. Where an area or moment cannot be filmed, this is explained before confirmation.
The record can demonstrate completion of the agreed service; it cannot prove a supernatural outcome. It should not expose temple staff, other worshippers or the client without permission.
Receiving and storing the record
The receiving account is verified before files are sent, reducing the risk of delivery to the wrong chat or group. Clients may request non-publication, identity masking or deletion of the coordinator’s copy after the agreed retention period.
If temple duties, weather or availability require a change, the coordinator explains the new time, alternative or refund path. Practical communication is not replaced by vague claims about fate.
